Questions, answered.
What materials do you machine flanges in?
Stainless steel, brass and other alloys, including carbon steel for general pressure piping. Material is selected for the pressure class, temperature and what the line carries.
Do you supply gaskets and sealing rings with flanges?
Yes. Gaskets, sealing rings and backing rings can be supplied alongside the flanges so the joint arrives complete.
Which flange standards do you manufacture to?
We machine flanges to ANSI B16.5, DIN and EN 1092 dimensions, and to fully custom drawings where the flange is not a standard part. Tell us the standard and pressure class, or send the drawing.
What materials are your flanges made in?
Stainless steel 304 and 316 for corrosion service, carbon steel A105 for general pressure piping, and brass for low-pressure and instrumentation work. Alloy steels are available on request.
Do you supply orifice flanges for flow metering?
Yes. Orifice flanges, along with the associated tap-offs and backing rings, are produced to your metering specification.
Do flanges come with material test certificates?
Yes. EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates are supplied with flange orders, along with dimensional inspection reports.
Can you produce a single non-standard flange?
Yes. Flanges are machined from forged blanks or plate, so a one-off or a small batch of a non-standard flange is straightforward and does not require forging tooling.
